Future Computers

The Future of Computers
The history of computers and computer technology thus far has been a long and a fascinating one, stretching back more than half a century to the first primitive computing machines. These machines were huge and complicated affairs, consisting of rowupon row of vacuum tubes and wires, often encompassing several rooms to fit it all in.
As anyone who has looked at the world of computers lately can attest, the size of computers has been reduced sharply, even as the power of these machines has increased at anexponential rate. In fact, the cost of computers has come down so much that many households now own not only one, but two, three or even more, PCs.
As the world of computers and computer technology continues to evolve and change, many people, from science fiction writers and futurists to computer workers and ordinary users, have wondered what the future holds for the computer and related technologies. Many things have been pictured, from robots in the form of household servants to computers so small they can fit in a pocket. Indeed, some of these predicted inventions have already come to pass, with the introduction of PDA's and robotic vacuum cleaners.
Beyond these innovations, however, there are likely to be many, many more. One of the most important areas of research in the world of computers is that of artificial intelligence. When many people think of artificial intelligence, they may picture fully aware machines, complete with emotions, and the problems that can arise from them. Even though this remains the goal of many artificial intelligence researchers, in fact artificial intelligence technology is already in place and already serving the needs of humans everywhere.
One of the most powerful uses of artificial intelligence thus far is in the world of speech recognition. This powerful technology is already in place in call centers, banks, brokeragecenters, insurance companies and other businesses throughout the world. While speech recognition is still imperfect, it has improved greatly in recent years, and in the future many routine, and even non-routine, phone calls and telephone inquiries may be handled completely without human intervention.
Robot technology has also come a long way, but it still has a long way to go. Robots in the future are unlikely to take human form, expect in a few specialized applications. Instead, robots are likely to do a great deal of work that is simply too dangerous for humans to accomplish. From spaceflight applications to search and rescue, robots are likely tocontinue down the learning curve they have already entered, further enhancing human lives and providingvaluable services for a fraction of the cost of today's robot helpers.
Quantum computers are also likely totransform the computing experience, for both business and home users. These powerful machines are alreadyon the drawing board, and they are likely to be introduced in the near future. The quantum computer is expected to be a giant leap forward in computing technology, with exciting implications for everything from scientific research to stock market predictions.
Nanotechnology is another important part of the future of computers, expected to have a profound impact on people around the globe. Nanotechnology is the process whereby matter is manipulated at the atomic level, providing the ability to “build” objects from their most basic parts. Like robotics and artificial intelligence, nanotechnology is already in use in many places, providing everything from stain resistant clothing to better suntan lotion. These advances in nanotechnology are likely to continue in the future, making this one of the most powerful aspects of future computing.
And if history is to be any guide, some of the most powerful advances in the world of computers and computer technology are likely to be completely unforeseen. After all, some of the most powerful technologies of the past have taken us by surprise, so stay tuned for a truly fascinating future. Let CBT Planet help you with your computer training needs. Future Computers

Computers of Tomorrow
Today's computers operate using transistors, wires and electricity. Future computers might use atoms, fibers and light. Personally, I don't give a byte what makes it tick, as long as it does the job. If I could accidentally spill my coffee and not have it cost $848, that would be a cool feature.
But let us assume that you are not still bitter from a recent laptop replacement. You might stop to consider what the world might be like, if computers the size of molecules become a reality. These are the types of computers that couldbe everywhere, but never seen. Nanosized bio-computers that could target specific areas inside your body. Giant networks of computers, in your clothing, your house, your car. Entrenched in almost every aspect of our lives and yet you may never give them a single thought.
Understanding the theories behind these future computer technologies is not for the meek. My research into quantum computers was made all the more difficult after I learned that in light of her constant interference, it is theoretically possible my mother-in-law could be in two placesat once.
If you have the heart, take a gander at the most promising new computer technologies. If not, dare to imagine the ways that billions of tiny, powerful computers will changeour society.

THE FUTURE ARMY

FRIENDS THIS WILL BE HOW THE FUTURE ARMIES WILL LOOK LIKE.......

WHAT IS FUTURE?

The future is the indefinite time period after the present . Its arrival isconsidered inevitable due to the existence of time and the laws of physics . Due to the nature of the reality and the unavoidability of the future, everything that currently exists and will exist is temporary and will come to an end. The future and the concept eternity have been major subjects of philosophy , religion , and science and defining them non-controversially has consistently eluded the greatest of minds. [ 1 ] It is the opposite of the past , and is the time after the present . [ 2 ] In the Occidental view, which uses a linear conception of time , the future is the portion of the projected time line that is anticipated to occur. [ 3 ] In special relativity the future is considered to be absolute future or the future lightcone . [ 4 ] In physics, time is considered to be the fourth dimension of the universe. [ 5 ]
In the philosophy of time , presentism is the belief that only thepresent exists and the future and the past are unreal . Religions consider the future when they address issues such as karma , life after death , and eschatologies that study what the end of time and the end of the worldwill be. Religious figures have claimed to see into the future, such as prophets and diviners . Organized efforts to predict or forecast the future may have derived from observations by early man of heavenly objects.
Future studies, or futurology , is the science, art and practice of postulating possible futures. Modern practitioners stress the importance of alternative and plural futures, rather than one monolithic future, and the limitations of prediction andprobability, versus the creation of possible and preferable futures.
In art and culture, the future was explored in several art movements and genres. The futurism art movement at the beginning of the 20th century explored every medium of art, including painting , sculpture , poetry , theatre , music , architecture and even gastronomy . Futurists had passionate loathing of ideas from the past, especially political and artistic traditions. Instead, they espoused a love of speed , technology , and violence . [ 6 ] [ 7 ] Futuristic music involved homage to, inclusion of, or imitationof machines. Futurism expanded to encompass other artistic domains and ultimately included industrial design, textiles, and architecture.
